Christmas can be a financially challenging time for everyone, but for families of children with complex health needs it can be even harder. Added costs of equipment and hospital visits coupled with caring responsibilities which can make it difficult to work means that some even struggle to put food on the table or heat their homes.

A donation of £1,000 just before Christmas could help more than 500 children with disabilities and life-limiting conditions enjoy fun, accessible activities.

When Winners Chapel International visited we were enjoying a Christmas brunch and 'elf scavenger hunt'. Everyone was offered a cooked breakfast and a warm drink while watching the movie 'Elf' then the children went hunting for elves in the garden and joined-in with craft activities. By the end there were lots of very excited little people!

Sessions like these help families make precious memories together in a safe-space where they don't feel alone or judged. But we cannot do it without the help of donations and are forever grateful to organisations like Winners International for their incredible support. Thank you.
